Rich Gold is an author and award-winning documentary filmmaker. Rich’s first documentary-film project as producer/director, In the Footsteps of Willie Sutton, hit the film-festival circuit in 2011 and won several awards, including Best Documentary in the Golden Door Film Festival.
Fueled with a fascination for true-crime films, Rich wrote his first screenplay, Gallo, based on the true story of mobster Joey Gallo. His second screenplay, The Gentleman Bandit, about bank robber Willie Sutton, inspired Rich to produce a documentary film about Sutton. Rich is currently developing In the Footsteps of Mad Dog Coll in what he hopes to be a true-crime documentary-film series.
Rich resides in South Florida.
