Cellini grew up in Reno in the 1950s, the son of a casino executive. The apple not falling far from the tree, he went into the casino business, but only after pursuing a career in the rock-music industry, during which he acquired an extensive collection of valuable and rare memorabilia, including his own photographs of rock stars in private (and not-so-private) moments. Before he passed away in 2010, Cellini was the surveillance director at a major Las Vegas Strip hotel.
