Huntington Press
Huntington Press was founded by Anthony Curtis in 1983, when he first began publishing the Las Vegas Advisor, a monthly consumer newsletter for value-conscious Las Vegas visitors and locals. Today, the newsletter has more than 15,000 subscribers and its sister website, LasVegasAdvisor.com, receives almost a quarter-million hits per day. If it has to do with Vegas, you’ll find it on the Advisor website.
Huntington Press is also a long-established full-service book publisher with an impressive list of titles. We’re best known for our mathematically rigorous gambling books, such as The Theory of Blackjack, The Frugal Gambler, Frugal Video Poker, Knock-Out Blackjack, Kill Phil, and Kill Everyone.
We’re almost as well-known for our books on Las Vegas, such as Whale Hunt in the Desert, Gay Vegas, The Battle for Las Vegas, Beneath the Neon, Cult Vegas, and Hiking Las Vegas.
In addition, over the years we’ve had the opportunity to expand our publishing boundaries to embrace other genres, including Madam: Inside a Nevada Brothel, The Vegas Kid (fiction), The Killing of Tupac Shakur (true crime), and The Art of Gambling Through the Ages (coffee-table art book). We also publish gambling software (Video Poker for Winners!), strategy cards for video poker, blackjack, and poker, and other gambling-related software.

Our own books, software, and strategy cards, as well as many other quality publications and gambling-related products, are available 24 hours a day via our online bookstore, ShopLVA.
Our goal is to be the complete, one-stop, must-see source of Las Vegas-related information for gamblers, Las Vegas visitors and locals, readers, and the media.
